I have to give this kit 5* just for saving me a ton of money versus competitors and for having spares on hand.Cons:I think for most people these long ferrules may make cable routing have sharper turns, which is less desirable (negligible amount, perhaps, but still).The wire crimp ends can lose paint if you put too much pressure when you crimp it. Use gentle pressure. Check to see if it’s tight by gently trying to rotate/spin the crimp end. If it rotates, you’ll have to crimp it just a little harder.I prefer the Shimano ferrules that came with the standard brake kit, but they only gave me 4 and my bike needs 6. I need 9 for my shifters and the Shimano kit gives 4 or something.I would definitely recommend this kit if you’re in a similar situation, since it comes with shifter and brake ferrules and wire crimp ends. Having extras of these is such a relief since I had to make a cable length adjustment and wasted one.
